Take on the Whistler's Backcountry with our 2.5 hour long tour and go that much further. Splash through creeks and power over rugged west coast terrain, while watching for local wildlife and breath taking views in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Sea to Sky region.
After exploring lush temperate rainforests, stunningly beautiful glacial lakes and rivers, as well as breathtaking views, you will have trouble believing you saw it all in 2.5 hours.

This tour takes place at our Cougar Mountain Basecamp located on Cougar Mountain, just 12 minutes north of Whistler Village, BC in a coastal temperate rainforest with magnificent mountain and valley views.

Chaperone Policy: A chaperone 19+ years old is required to be on tour with anyone aged 15 and under. Ages 16+ are able to join all tours without chaperone, granted the minimum requirements are met.

Children must be 4’ tall (122 cm) and fit a D.O.T. helmet to ride. You must wear one of our Department of Transportation (DOT) certified and regularly inspected helmets. D.O.T. certified helmets meet or exceed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218, the legal requirement for a helmet to be used on public roads. Personal helmets are not permitted.
Weather can change quickly in the backcountry; wear layered clothing to stay comfortable.
Hydration and quick energy are key for maintaining stamina during the ride.
Guides prioritize safety; listen closely and stay within the designated areas.
Ensure your camera, sunglasses, and appropriate clothing are ready for the trip.
The backcountry routes follow old logging trails that have been repurposed for adventure, preserving a slice of BC’s rugged history.
The Adventure Group prioritizes environmental stewardship by adhering to Leave No Trace principles and minimizing impact.
Helmets are provided but bringing your own can ensure a comfortable fit and added safety.
Protect your feet with durable footwear suitable for uneven, muddy terrain.
