About This Adventure

Enhance your diving confidence and skills with this comprehensive training course. Over one day, you'll engage in hands-on classroom discussions, practice emergency procedures in the pool, and complete ocean dives in Monterey. Learn to handle stress, equipment failures, and emergency situations, ensuring you're prepared for any underwater challenge.

TRAINING COSTS:

  • $445 Tuition per person
  • $130 E-learning materials (SDI)

The payment of Course Fees guarantees TRAINING, not necessarily certification. Certification is EARNED only by successfully meeting all applicable standards and objectives.

2 person minimum. If minimum participation is not met, the module will be cancelled and you can either be bumped to the next scheduled event, or refunded


OBJECTIVE: Have you ever wanted to become more confident and more comfortable while diving? Have you ever felt helpless when a buddy needed assistance? Have you ever found yourself needing assistance? Would you know what to do if your buddy suddenly became unconscious during a dive? Would you know what to do if your buddy stopped breathing, or was in cardiac arrest? Would you know how to help a fellow diver who had been stricken with a diving related illness?

Classroom will involve a hands on discussion and review of the digital learning materials. We will discuss what creates stress, how to mitigate it, being prepared, and how to handle stress in ourselves as well with others.

Once we move to the pool, we will be assessing everyone’s weighting, trim, buoyancy control and practicing various emergency situations.

Then it’s time to put it all together at the ocean for your Certification dives!


DIVER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Open Water Diver Certification or higher
  • 18 years or older (parent/guardian release is required)
  • Current 1st Aid/CPR Certification
  • Current O2 Provider Certification
  • Mastery of buoyancy control
  • Advanced Diver

RECOMMENDED:
