Join our guide Emily on a two day bikepacking adventure in the depths of winter. The days will be filled with cycling through some of the best landscape we have. At night, you will be staying in a warm, dry and cosy hostel.
A whole load of bicycle based winter fun.
Expect land rover tracks, wide grassy paths and some easy single track. There will be hills, however it is perfectly OK to take your bike for a walk up these. It may well be wet, so expect mud and puddles.
This is Scotland in the autumn/winter. You are highly likely to get wet, to experience wind and there may be snow, equally it may be absolutely glorious. BUT this is all part of the adventure. We just need to make sure we are prepared. The bonus is that there is a warm bed and somewhere indoors at the end of each day. In the event of extreme weather where there is a danger to life the trip will be cancelled and alternative dates offered.
You should be comfortable riding your bike for 50km / 30 miles per day for two days in a row on hilly terrain. This trip requires you to have some off-road riding experience.
