On this tour, you'll enjoy a variety of fresh seafood, including familiar classics, like the lobster roll and chowders, to modern fare, while you learn about the harvesting and hard work that brings the bounty to your table.
You will visit Portland’s vibrant working waterfront to view lobster boats often unloading their catch, and walk the historic wharves as we share their history dating back 200 years.
We'll visit a mix of the Old Port and waterfront destinations for a filling, progressive lunch. Along the route, you'll learn about the life of lobsters dwelling on the ocean floor and how hardy lobstermen and women haul in millions of pounds each year. How is Maine able to sustain a catch this size year after year? We will show you this and share much more!

Q: What if I need to cancel my tour? A: When you purchase the tour insurance, which is $5.99 per ticket, you'll be eligible for a refund equal to the cost of the tickets, minus the booking fee and tour insurance cost. Tour insurance allows you to cancel your tickets up to 24 hours prior to the tour start time. There are no refunds within 24 hours of the tour.
If you do not purchase the insurance, a gift certificate may be given for any ticket purchased if notified more than 24 hours ahead of your tour. The certificates do not expire and may be redeemed on any tour in Maine and may also be transferred or gifted to another.
