Come uncover the past as we beachcomb the dredge spoils along the Savannah River looking for shark teeth, whale bones and countless other types of fossils. We may find a variety of shark teeth including Bull, Dusky, Tiger, Sand Tiger, Mako, Great White and maybe even a massive Megalodon. In addition to shark teeth, we might also find material from Mammoths, Mastodons, Giant Ground Sloths, Giant Beavers and Ice Age Horses, just to name a few. Our guides are experts at spotting and identifying fossils and can give you a better idea of just how different this world was millions of years ago.
This is a physically demanding tour and is not recommended for people with mobility issues. Includes the boat, captain, fuel, golf cart rental, and coffee at School Grounds Coffee.
