San Miguel river starts near Telluride and flows into the Dolores River downstream. The section that we guide is about an hour from our shop in Montrose, near Placerville, CO. San Miguel River is one of a few freestone river (not dammed) in Colorado is a home to abundance of aquatic insects. It is a beautiful scenery even though you are right off of a state highway winding through red canyon walls. It is very suitable for all level of anglers and since the access can be fairly easy, it is perfect for kids as well. Fish aren’t super big but on a good day, it is a numbers game. Our experienced guide will take you to different fishing holes and you will have a blast. Full day trips include lunch and drinks.
