Seasonal Fishing Conditions

The best times to fish the rivers with Teton Troutfitters are as follows:

The Snake River is ideal in April, the last week of June, and throughout July, August, September, and October, but please note that only half-day trips are available during these peak times.

The Green and New Fork Rivers are excellent fishing spots year-round, except for late May and early June.

The Salt River follows the same schedule as the Snake, with prime fishing in April, the last week of June, and the months of July, August, September, and October.

What to bring

For any given fishing trip the guide will provide transportation to from and on the river, personal flotation devices, fly rods, flies, and snacks (lunch on full days) and beverages.

The client will be responsible for purchasing a fishing license that is valid for the days they are fishing, sunscreen, clothing for any weather we expect to have, a hat, and sunglasses. If they would like to bring their own fly-fishing gear, they are welcome to do so.
