American Sailing Association Certification Course
7 Days/6 Nights Course: $3500 per student
Advanced 1 teaches the novice/intermediate sailor the required skills to cruise safely as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat in near-coastal waters, then advancing to a multi-day cruise upon inland/coastal waters in moderate/heavy winds and sea conditions.
We will be anchoring (weather permitting) at un-inhabited Bird Island and other locations as well as a 25 to 30 mile ocean sail to Southport, NC.

3 student limit per class, unless stated.
All courses require a non-refundable 25% deposit. Once received, all instructional materials will be mailed to you.

Motion Sickness Remedies. While most of our guests are fine sailing on the ocean, some are concerned about potential sea sickness or queesy-ness. We have seen Dramamine, Bonine and other medications, pressure point wrist bands, patches behind the ear, and more being used. These can typically be purchased at a pharmacy store. Breakfast and Dinner is not provided during the ASA 104.
