Complimentary boarding is available any time after 6:00 p.m. the night before your charter begins.
To ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable bareboat charter experience, we want to be sure that you and your crew are knowledgeable in handling the yacht you have chosen. We ask that you complete our Boating Resume & email it to us to help us determine your sailing skill level.
To be a qualified skipper, we are looking for you to meet the following criteria:
Lake Superior’s weather can shift rapidly; always review forecasts before departure.
Bring moisture-wicking and windproof layers to stay comfortable in changing conditions.
Ensure you have life jackets and navigation tools on board for a safe trip.
Allow extra time to navigate around Apostle Islands and avoid late afternoon winds.
