Lower Salt River SUP Lesson
Learn to paddleboard on the Lower Salt River with an ACA Certified SUP Instructor. The Lower Salt River is considered a class 1 with a short class 2 section.
Plan to spend 90 minutes on the water plus shuttle time. Allocate 3+ hours. Starting $135 Per Person.
Logistics: Meet at Sheep's Crossing Recreation Site to leave as many vehicles as possible and shuttle with other participants to the launch area. The launch area will be Water Users Recreation Site's Upper Lot.
What to Wear/Bring: -Sturdy water shoes -Old tennis shoes (may be slippery on rocks) -Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses with tethers) -Dry bags for snacks and small personal items -Hydration (approx 2-3 liters of water) -Tonto Day Parking Pass or National Parks Pass. One per car.
