Adventure Tips

Dress in layers for alpine conditions

Temperatures on Blackcomb Mountain can drop sharply after sunset; insulated winter gear and moisture-wicking layers help maintain comfort.

Bring a camera with a strap

Snowmobile paths provide incredible photo opportunities but keep your hands free and safely manage your equipment with a secure strap.

Follow all safety instructions on snowmobiles

Each rider must wear a DOT-approved helmet and follow the guide’s directions to ensure safety on forest trails at night.

Arrive early for check-in

Check-in at Carleton Lodge closes 10 minutes before departure; arriving 30 minutes ahead ensures smooth gear fitting and briefing.
