Imagine stepping back in time and discovering the route the Dinosaurs took as they traversed what is now the Rocky Mountains or enjoy the experience of countless musicians that have been in awe of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Our expert guides will lead you from our shop right into Bear Creek Lake Park where you will discover one of our local treasures-a state park in our back yard. From there you will enjoy a scenic ride through the park and ride on the bike path where you will visit the famous town of Morrison, Colorado. From Morrison, you will easily ride up into Red Rocks Park and see one of the coolest music venues and the only naturally-occurring, acoustically-perfect amphitheater in the world! Red Rocks Amphitheatre was once listed as one of the seven geological wonders of the world and is considered sacred by many Native American tribes. You will spend approximately 20-30 minutes exploring the venue on foot (if venue is closed due to an event, exploring hiking paths will be substituted) while viewing the distinctive distant sky-scape of Denver. You will rejoin your tour-guide to ride out of the park and across the street to another geological wonder, Dinosaur Ridge. You will effortlessly ride into Dinosaur Ridge where Dinosaur footprints are amazingly preserved into the mountainside. You will spend time discovering the paths that the Dinosaurs walked and learn more about the preserved footprints. As you head back down the ridge you will arrive back at the bike path leading you into and through Bear Creek Lake Park and back to the store.
