The present castle buildings date from the 17th and 18th century but some foundations dates to the Middle ages. Visit the Royal palace of Drottningholm, an UNESCO world heritage site. Also go to Wenngarn and Skokloster nobility palaces. Both are well preserved nobleman private palaces from the 17th century. In all of those places the most famous Swedish nobles and royalty of their time were living their lives.
Then awaits the UNESCO world heritage area of Drottningholm, take a guided tour by your expert knowledgable guide in the castle and the unique park area. Then awaits a drive and lunch in the city of Sigtuna, the oldest city in Sweden.
After that we visit the castle of Wenngarn, once home to the favorite noble of Queen Christina: Magnus Gabriel De La Gardie. Hear about him, see one of the best preserved baroque palace chapel in Northern Europe and the newly restored garden. After that we visit Skokloster; see the former monastery church, its treasures of paintings, books and silver. Enter the palace and walk around with your guide that will educate you about this treasure trove from Sweden's Imperial era.
