Embark on an adventure to Lamar Valley and the Northern Yellowstone Range where wolves were first reintroduced in 1995 – one of the best places on earth to view wolves! There will be opportunities to see a variety of wildlife and attractions along the trail. Your Guide will provide information and visual aids to educate you about the Yellowstone Park wolf packs. To provide the best available sighting and photographic opportunities; your Guide will be communicating with other guides and wolf researchers before your day even begins taking note of where the wolves and wildlife will most likely be sighted to ensure an awesome day for everyone.
6am departure-For guests to have their best chances of sighting the wolves we will depart early your Guide will provide morning snacks, coffee and cocoa in the field while looking for wolves! The northern range of Yellowstone is where wolves were first reintroduced in 1995 to bring the ecosystem back into its natural balance and has been called the best place on earth to view wolves! wildlife we may see are bison, elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, river otters, pronghorn antelope, coyote, red fox, bald eagle, golden eagles and often swans on the river.
