Please be prepared to be outside the vehicle for varying lengths of time while wildlife watching. This may include some walking on raised wooden or dirt/ gravel or snow-covered trails. Layered clothing is highly recommended as the weather in Yellowstone National Park can change rapidly. Winter guests should plan to bring appropriate sun, wind, & rain protection to maintain comfort throughout the day. Warm, waterproof boots are highly recommended for all touring in the park.
