Adventure Tips

Bring reef-safe sunscreen

Protect the marine environment around Yelapa by using only biodegradable sunscreen products during snorkeling and beach time.

Wear sturdy water shoes

The hike to the waterfall involves uneven terrain and slippery rocks, so grip and foot protection are important.

Carry cash for local purchases

Many vendors and eateries in Yelapa accept only cash, so bring small bills for snacks like the famous Yelapa Pie.

Stay hydrated

Bring a refillable water bottle; the tour provides bottled water, but hydration is key under the sun and after physical activity.
