About

**"WINTER SEASON" in Yellowstone runs from November 1 to May 12, During this time we are limited to driving between Gardiner and Cooke City, until some time in April when the interior roads begin to open. This still allows us to visit some excellent wildlife habitat and great scenery! Most of the park interior roads are closed to over-the-road vehicles until the winter weather breaks and the Park can begin clearing the roads for the year, requiring special snow coaches or snowmobiles to get around. We are not licensed for these vehicles although we can suggest some reputable operators who are if you wish to visit the park's interior. Temperatures can drop to 30 degrees below zero Fahrenheit, so you will need to dress appropriately, with substantial winter boots and layers. We won't be hiking or snowshoeing far from the SUV, but just standing outside for a few minutes in these extreme temperatures can be painful if you aren't dressed appropriately. **

Yellowstone. The word conjures visions of grandeur, from mountains to geysers to majestic wildlife. On this tour, you'll capture that grandeur, guided by a photographer with many years of experience with the art and craft of photography and the Yellowstone region. From selecting a camera to scouting the best spots to composing the shot, you'll be supported the entire way. If you are already an accomplished photographer and just need a guide, we can do that as well! Each tour is bespoke, crafted completely to accommodate your needs. We will go where you want to go and shoot what you want to shoot (within reason, of course). This tour is not accessible to wheelchair users, but other movement limitations may be able to be accommodated, please inquire. We will provide a picnic lunch (for full-day tours), snacks, and refills for your water bottles.
