Trail type- dirt road, smooth and rocky with some ruts and sand dips. BATHROOMS AVAILABLE. Meet o River Rd. parking location. Travel down dirt roads that are still used by local ranchers. Observe the vast desert landscape and imagine how the indians lived o of this land over the last thousands of years. Enjoy the art and spiritual markings left on giant rocks below Little Black Mountain, petroglyphs created by several early civilazations that span nearly 8,000 years. The tour continues further into the desert wilderness to “Glitter Mountain” where mounds of gypsum glistens like crystals.
