The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed for certified Open Water Divers ready to expand their skills, confidence, and comfort underwater. Complete 5 or 6 open water adventure dives over 2 or 3 days while exploring some of the most iconic dive zones in the region.

With us, you can combine three different dive areas into one single course:

  • One day of diving in Cancun
  • One day of deep diving in Cozumel
  • One day of spectacular cenote diving

🗓️ Course Itineraries

Plan A – Cancun + Cenotes

Day 1: Cancun Check-out Dives

  • 11:15 AM – Hotel pickup
  • 11:45 AM – Marina arrival
  • 12:30 PM – Two Adventure Dives (MUSA, Shallow Reef, Navigation or Buoyancy)
  • 3:40 PM – Return to hotel

Day 2: Deep & Shallow Cenotes

  • 6:45 AM – Hotel pickup
  • 8:15 AM – Arrival at Cenote site
  • 9:00 AM – 3 Adventure dives (1 deep, 2 shallow)
  • 2:15 PM – Return to hotel after lunch

Plan B – Cancun + Cenotes + Cozumel

Day 1: Cancun Adventure Dives

  • Same as above

Day 2: Cenote Dives

  • Same as above

Day 3: Cozumel Wall & Drift Diving

  • 7:00 AM – Pickup
  • 8:10 AM – Marina check-in and Cozumel speed boat
  • 2 Adventure dives in the Cozumel Marine Park (Wall & Drift)
  • 1:30 PM – Return to Playa and back to your hotel

❓ FAQs

Can I choose my own dive locations? Yes! You can select from Cancun reefs, Cozumel walls, or cenote dives depending on your interests.

Do I have to do all 6 dives? No, the minimum for certification is 5. A 6th dive is optional and can be added as a bonus.

Can I do this course right after my Open Water certification? Yes, you can start immediately!

Can I dive on Nitrox? Yes, if you are Nitrox certified. Tanks available for $13 USD per tank.

Can I rent a GoPro or bring my own? Yes, you may bring your own or rent one. Note: Some cenotes charge around $500 MXN/day for camera use.

Is transportation included? Transportation is available from your hotel for 800 MXN per day for the entire group.

Is it safe to dive in cenotes? Absolutely. Cenotes are calm, clear freshwater systems. You’ll be guided by experienced instructors trained for cavern diving.
