About

Level 1 SUP is two hours long. You will learn how to stop, turn, stand up as well as safety tips and knowledge to help you have more FUN on the water. Willows Beach, Gonzales Bay or Thetis Lake

Level 2 SUP is two hours and builds on skills learned in Basic SUP and focuses on improved efficiency when paddling, bracing, pivot turns and more.

Level 1 and 2 are sometimes offered together in a blended course 3 hours. Successful participants will be awarded either a Basic or Advanced level certification from Paddle Canada.


What to Bring

  • Wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and water activity (not cotton)
  • Bring a towel, change of clothes (just in case)
  • Drysuits, boots & gloves can be added to your session for warmth and comfort anytime of the year (additional fee applies).
  • Make sure you have a strap for your glasses
  • Leave your electronic keys, phone, etc. on shore or rent a dry bag for your gear
  • board, paddle and lifejacket included if needed. Or BYOBoard
