Beautiful Pace Bend Park is located just northwest of Austin, in the gorgeous Hill Country of Texas. The park features more than nine miles of shoreline along scenic Lake Travis, with high, limestone cliffs and impressive views, especially at sunset. The park is 1,400 acres and the interior of the park is managed as a wildlife preserve which has trails for horses, bikes and hikers, in addition to the horseback riding available in the shoreline/beach portions of the park. This park serves as home to a large number of whitetail deer, raccoon, fox, ringtail cat, and dozens of bird species.
