Adventure Tips

Use Red Light for Night Vision

Bring a flashlight with a red light setting or use the provided red cellophane to avoid disturbing wildlife during the night hike.

Wear Sturdy, Closed-Toed Shoes

The trail is easy but uneven in spots; closed-toed shoes provide protection against rocks and low branches along the path.

Dress for Evening Temperatures

Bring a light jacket or layers as Hill Country nights can cool off quickly, even after warm days.

Arrive Early to Meet at Trailhead

The group meets just outside the park by the Blue Hole Regional Park sign to start promptly at 7:30 p.m. Arriving early helps with parking and orientation.
