Our overnight multispecies halibut trip! 2 days of multispecies fishing, 2 days worth of bag limits, a tour of the beautiful town of Seldovia, and an overnight stay with your captain and crew!

Our overnight multispecies trip includes an overnight stay in the beautiful and scenic town of Seldovia along with two days of epic multispecies fishing - halibut, rockfish, salmon, and lingcod (lingcod available only after July 1)

Seldovia is a beautiful town we usually a pass about 1 hour from homer enroute to our fishing grounds for the day. Seldovia is only accessible by boat or by plane.

Join us as on Day 1 we head out on our multispecies fishing trip. After spending the day targeting several different species of fish we return the beautiful town of Seldovia where guests and staff can enjoy a nice dinner together at one of Seldovia's local restaurants. A well deserved nights rest and hot shower, brings us to Day 2 with less than a 5 minute walk to the boat that's already been refueled and ready for another day of epic Alaska fishing. After the 2nd day of multispecies fishing we'll return to Homer around 3:30PM

These trip off two daily limits of halibut, rockfish, salmon and lingcod.

Angler Limitations

· This trip is not available to split parties. · Your group will have the boat exclusively. · A minimum of 5 seats is required for this trip. · · · · · Maximum of 6 anglers per boat but multiple boats are available for larger groups. · Nightly accommodation in Seldovia is based on double occupancy. · Breakfast fare such as fruits and muffins, as well as lunch sandwiches, are included on the 2nd day but dinner is at the expense of the guests.

Pricing

Due to the 2 days of crew service that includes preparing meals, overnight care of fish, and more 20% gratuity for the crew is already included in the price.

If this trip includes fishing for Halibut on a Tuesday and/or Wednesday, there will be an additional $100 per angler, for each Tuesday or Wednesday, required when it is time to pay the balance. Also, the halibut limit will be 1 halibut of any size for the Tuesday and/or Wednesday. All other bag limits will remain the same.

Halibut Fishing Regulations & Limits:

· Each angler is allowed a daily bag limit of 2 halibut: one Halibut can be any size and one Halibut must be 27 inches or less(for 2025), which is approximately a 9 lb fish

· There is no annual limit on Halibut

· In 2025, no charter “halibut” fishing allowed on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. However, Homer Halibut Hunters does have special permits available to fish on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Rockfish Limits: · May 27 - June 30 - No Yelloweye Rockfish Retention · Other Nonpelagic - 1 per day · Pelagic Rockfish - 2 per day

Lingcod Limits: · 1 per day over 35 inches

King Salmon Limits: · 1 per day over 20"

About Our Fleet:

Homer Halibut Charters operates two of the most comfortable, fast boats available. These large, capable boats allow us to get to our fishing grounds quickly, cover large distances, maximize fishing times, and are commanded by experienced and USCG licensed captains and crews.

What to bring

• Alaska sport fishing licenses are required for anyone 16 years and older. Please bring a king stamp if you are on a trip that includes salmon. • BRING YOUR FISHING LICENSE! • Layered clothing with a water-proof shell, hats and gloves are also a good idea • Food, drinks, snacks, and water. Alcoholic beverages are allowed but please no hard alcohol or glass • Phones and cameras • Motion sickness medicine if you think you'll need it
