About

On this grand overnight dog sledding adventure in Kiruna, Lapland you can choose between riding as a passenger on our guide’s sled and driving your own team of four Alaskan huskies. After receiving careful instruction on how to handle the sled in different trail conditions we will set out on our journey into the wild. Today we will experience the landscape surrounding the magnificent Torne River as we travel in the direction of our private wilderness retreat.

On arrival we relax in the wood heated sauna before sitting down for dinner, savouring the delicious Lappish cuisine with a bottle of wine or beer. Before bedtime there is a good chance we will be able to view the dazzling northern lights as they dance across the sky. Here, well away from artificial lights, the stars are too many to be counted.

After a good night’s sleep in cosy cabin accommodation in a wilderness setting we enjoy a hearty breakfast before tending to the dogs. The journey back to the kennel in the soft morning light offers plenty of photo opportunities and memories to last a lifetime.
