Then it's on to the FDR Memorial, where quotes and statues tell the story of his unprecedented four presidential terms and the challenges of the Great Depression and World War II. Pause to admire the statue of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, a dedicated humanitarian and champion of civil rights.
