We provide all the equipment you’ll need to have an enjoyable and exciting experience.

More info

Never ridden a horse? That’s okay! Our horses take excellent care of their riders and we look forward to giving you a great first experience. Our requirements are for the safety of both horse and rider. Our trails are suitable for all levels of riders, but we often encounter brush, cactus, and other elements.

Adventure Tips

Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes

Closed-toe shoes with a slight heel help keep your feet secure in the stirrups during the ride.

Bring sunscreen and a hat

The Texas sun can be strong even during short rides, so protect yourself with sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat.

Hydrate before and after your ride

The dry, arid climate of Fort Davis makes staying hydrated important, especially if the sun is out.

Listen to your guide’s safety instructions

Following the guide’s advice ensures not only your safety but also the wellbeing of the horses.
