About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable fishing adventure aboard the Gambler, where you can catch massive sea bass and other delectable species in the winter months. Enjoy a comfortable, heated cabin, expert assistance, and all necessary equipment provided. Experience the thrill of fishing with built-in underwater lights that attract sea life!

An exciting way to put lots of good eating fish in your coolers!

These fish, offshore in the winter months, are extra big and ravenous and among the best eating seafood in the world.

The sea bass inhabiting the offshore wrecks in December are as big as 6+ lbs. Along with the jumbo sea bass, we often catch huge porgies, cod, pollock, hake and other species--also good eating fare.

Our mates are always there to help when needed, from instruction to fish filleting at the end of the trip. We will have virtually everything you need on board. Rod and reel rental, bait (included), hooks and sinkers, food and beverages, ice and a place to store you catch.

Enjoy our heated spacious cabin as the Gambler gets you to the offshore grounds quickly and comfortably.

Don't forget to dress in layers and bring boots and rain gear. Taking pictures is a great idea and you can upload pictures right onto our website.

Please arrive at least 1 hour early to check-in and secure your equipment. The boat will leave promptly and can not wait for late arrivals.

Adventure Tips

Dress in layers for winter cold

Even with a heated cabin, temperatures offshore can be brisk—wear warm, moisture-wicking layers.

Sea-sickness prevention

Take anti-nausea medication before departure if you’re prone to seasickness, as offshore conditions can be rough.

Bring your own snacks and hydration

While the Gambler offers comfort, packing personal snacks and water keeps energy levels up during long hours.

Handle fish carefully

Practice sustainable catch-and-release techniques to protect local sea bass populations.
