Access stunning trails like Observation Point and Cable Mountain without the hassle of parking. Enjoy a memorable hiking experience in a pristine environment, while helping to preserve the natural beauty of the area.

About

The East Mesa Trail System is a hidden gem, and perfect for guests lodging in the East Zion area. Take our shuttle from Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to the East Mesa or Stave Springs Trailhead to access either the Observation Point or Cable Mountain trails. No need to worry about parking or if your vehicle can make it up to this stunning trail–because ours do!

Note:

  • Each party will book a departing time. Return shuttle picks up at the trailhead every hour on the half hour.

  • We do not guide these hikes; we only provide transportation from Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to the Observation Point/East Mesa Trailhead and back, and the Stave Springs/Cable Mountain Trailhead and back.

  • Much of these trails are not shaded, so make sure you have plenty of water. It is 6.5 miles, round trip for Observation Point, and about 7.5 miles round trip for Cable Mountain.

  • Parking at these trailheads is extremely limited and often not available. This shuttle assists in preserving the land by preventing vehicles from parking in unauthorized areas that disrupt the land.
