On-water training is based on the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) curriculum. Module 4 will guide you thru advanced open water maneuvers. In this course we don’t shy away from wakes, waves or other vessels. We practice handling these everyday situations you may run into on Lake Erie. As we practice- the turns, stops, and collision avoidance maneuvers become tighter and more aggressive preparing you for the day you might need them. We also drill man overboard and other important advanced skills. Safety will always be our focus. All courses are taught by Erie Islands Powerboating School Instructors who hold USCG and NSBC certifications.
