About This Adventure

Dive into the exhilarating world of freediving with this comprehensive training course! Over a series of engaging sessions, you'll master essential safety procedures, breathing techniques, and equalization skills, all while exploring depths of up to 66ft. Challenge yourself, set personal records, and discover the thrill of underwater adventure!

The payment of Course Fees guarantees TRAINING, not necessarily certification. Certification is EARNED only by successfully meeting all applicable standards, objectives and depths.

DURATION:

  • 2 hour E-learning via NAUI
  • 4 hour Classroom

OBJECTIVE: Learn safety procedures and equalization techniques to comfortably freedive to a max depth of 66ft (20m). Gain the skills and knowledge to go beyond your limits and set new personal records. Freediving is about testing yourself and discovering what you are truly capable of.

We begin with a thorough review of breathing techniques and safety protocols. Then we don our wetsuits and hop in the pool to practice everything from the basics of mask clearings, surface safety procedures, duck dives, and emergency protocols. When we go to the ocean for your Certification Dives, we also review exits/entries, before testing your skills to a minimum of 10m (33') and up to a maximum of 20m (66').

This is your opportunity to get acquainted with this sport and comfortable underwater so that you can properly enjoy yourself out in the open ocean. We hope that you continue to train and enjoy freediving as much as we do, by joining us for Line Diving Sessions, Pool Trainings, and more advanced courses such as FD Level 2, and U/W Hunting & Fishing.


DIVER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 200m swim without rest

  • 10 minute safety float / tread

  • Minimum 10m (33') Depth

  • 15 years or older (parent/guardian release is required)

    Any participant under the age of 18 will REQUIRE:

    • The parent/guardian to be listed as the main point of contact.
    • A SEPARATE email & phone number for the parent/guardian and the minor participating in the course.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Swimsuit & towel
  • Low Volume Mask & J-Tube Snorkel
