We would like to take you for a trip to the Ojcow National Park – the smallest and arguably most picturesque natural reserve in Poland – including a visit in Pieskowa Skala Castle, the chapel "on the river", Ojcow Castle ruins, a walk around a beautiful XIX-century spa resort and natural monuments such as Bludgeon of Hercules, Krakow Gate, famous Dark cave as well as a drink from one and only Love Spring :) finished with unforgettable impressions of smoked / stewed trout from famous Ojcow farm.
It is a great place to get away from the hustling and bustling city life, located about half an hour drive from Krakow. The smallest of the Polish national parks, with an area of only 21.5 sq km, Ojcow is visited by many tourists who come here to see the most beautiful Jurassic rock formations in Poland, visit caves and beautifully situated castles in Pieskowa Skala and in Ojcow. In the park you can also observe very rich flora and fauna, including as many as 17 species of bats, European beaver, ermine, badger, and birds: black stork, kingfisher and different species of woodpeckers. Ojcowski National Park can be visited only by following marked hiking trails, the network of which is nearly 50 km long. The Ojcowski National Park may be the smallest but it is has many secrets, long history and interesting legends to discover.
