Learn to mush, switch roles with your partner, and enjoy scenic stops along the way. Afterward, unwind with the dogs and warm up with hot cocoa and treats in a cozy hut.
Pricing is based on full occupancy per sled (per person)
Individual weight limit: 300 lbs
Maximum Sled weight capacity: 450 Lbs. If two guests exceed the weight limit, separate single-occupancy sleds will be required.

Please Note: If a single-occupancy sled is required or requested due to an odd number of guests or weight limitations, additional charges will apply at the time of the tour. Please call if you do not wish to be paired with another guest and meet this criteria.
Join Us for an Unforgettable Backcountry Dog Sled Adventure!
Experience the thrill of mushing your own team of Alaskan Huskies on a scenic 12.5-mile private trail. Our 1/2 Day Adventure offers approximately 2 hours on-sled as you learn how to "Mush Your Own Team."
Instruction: Guests will receive 10-15 minutes of guidance before stepping onto the sled and feeling the excitement of mushing firsthand!
Sled Sharing: Typically, there are 2 people per sled. For smaller children, we may occasionally have 3 people per sled, depending on the size and weight of the guests.
Switching Roles: If both guests are 80 lbs or more, we will stop halfway along the trail to switch, giving each person the chance to mush. Smaller guests (under 80 lbs) may also have the opportunity to help mush by standing on the sled runners with an adult behind them.
PLEASE ARRIVE DRESSED AND READY TO GO ON THE TRAIL Guests are responsible for wearing warm winter clothing, outerwear, and insulated winter boots. Be prepared for changing mountain weather conditions. Remember... you can always remove a layer, but you can't add one if you don't have it!
Temperatures can drop quickly, so wear thermal layers, insulated jackets, and waterproof gloves.
Snowy conditions make waterproof and insulated boots a must for comfort and warmth.
Guides provide important instructions on mushing techniques and dog safety to ensure a smooth ride.
Snow glare can be intense; bring UV-blocking sunglasses or goggles to prevent eye strain.
