Designed for adventurous runners, this trip focuses on essential mountain skills while completing a summit traverse of one of Vancouver Island’s most iconic peaks.

Intermediate Trail Runner Overview: Ideal for runners who have a solid foundation in trail running and are comfortable running on varied terrain. This level is for those who have been running regularly for several months and are ready to tackle more challenging trails with moderate elevation gain and varying conditions. Distance: 10-20 km per run Elevation Gain: 300-800 meters per run Pace: Steady pace with some moderate effort, able to run most sections of the trail with occasional slower sections on steeper terrain. Terrain: Mixed terrain, including moderate ascents, descents, uneven ground, and technical trails with roots, rocks, and loose dirt. Example: Running on more challenging mountain or forest trails with moderate elevation gain, some technical footing, and sections requiring extra focus.
