  • Completed Medical History Questionnaire
  • Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training within the last 24 months (Can be completed at Seasport Divers before start of Rescue Course).

About

Are you ready to feel more prepared and confident in the water? The PADI rescue diver course gives you the tools and knowledge to respond to diving emergencies and how to prevent emergencies from occurring. One of the more challenging courses you can take, it is often found to be the most rewarding. You will learn Self Rescue skills, how to manage stress, emergency management, rescuing panicked divers, rescuing unresponsive divers, and much more.

This 2 day course will begin with the Rescue Diver elearning before beginning the course. This takes between 8-12 hours to complete. The first day of the course will begin with learning and practicing 12 rescue exercises. The second day is where you will get to put your rescue skill to the test performing different rescue scenarios to reinforce what you have learned and ensure you can work together as a team in an emergency.
