Join Minehead Eye's Skate School for an engaging one-hour session led by expert tutor Albert. Perfect for ages 6 and up, this course teaches essential skatepark etiquette, safe falling techniques, and fosters a positive community spirit. Enjoy the onsite café for refreshments while you skate, with equipment available if needed.

The lesson is structured with 1 hour of skateboarding instructing with Minehead Eye's skate tutor Albert. This session is suitable for anyone ages 6 and over.
Our Skate School courses ensure every skater learns skatepark etiquette, techniques of safe falling, the components of a skateboard and the importance of inclusion, self expression and positivity within the community of skateboarders.
If you're starting to push on flat ground and want to attempt a few basic turns and tricks and looking towards mastering the basics, this is for you.
The onsite café is open during this session to grab a refreshing drink or pizza along with your skate.
You are welcome to bring your own equipment, but if you need to use ours we can supply helmets, skateboards and pads free of charge.
Get to the park 10-15 minutes early to stretch and familiarize yourself with the course layout.
Always use a helmet, knee pads, and wrist guards to prevent injuries while learning new tricks.
Skateboarding is physically demanding; stay hydrated especially during warmer months.
Observe basic skatepark etiquette: wait your turn, avoid cutting lines, and give space when others are performing tricks.
