Learn to sail with your partner!

Our live-aboard couple/pair sailing lessons allows the two of you to immerse yourself in the sailing lifestyle. Each course you take will be private and allow us to focus on building your skills as a team, while also giving you opportunities for single-handed sailing. Hey, you have to sleep sometime, right!

Each course will progressively prepare both of you to confidently sail the boat in a coastal cruising environment.

Our 4 day, 3 night 101/3 has been created for a typical one week off from work vacation and allows us to work with you at a slower pace, assuring that you each are learning and, more importantly, retaining the skills and information.

ASA 101 teaches the beginning sailor the required skills for the safe handling of a moderate sized keelboat along the coast/shore line. Learn basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards.

ASA 103 teaches the intermediate sailor the required skills to cruise safely as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat in near-coastal waters. Learn cruising sailboat terminology, basic boat systems, auxiliary engine operation, docking procedures, intermediate sail trim, navigation rules, basic coastal navigation, anchoring, weather, safety and seamanship.
