NOTE: This class is highly recommended to first build your confidence in shooting before your Concealed Handgun Permit course.

Introduction to Handguns: Welcome to our comprehensive handgun class designed to build safety, firearm handling skills, confidence, and comfort. This class caters to both new and experienced shooters. Whether you're handling a firearm for the first time or looking to refine your skills, Women's Firearms Fundamentals is here to help you achieve your goals.

Beginners: Start your journey with us by learning the fundamentals of shooting in a classroom setting. Our hands-on class ensures a safe environment where you can get comfortable with firearms. We begin with a detailed course outline and thorough instruction before you touch a firearm. After the instructional period, you'll practice with simulated firearms to perfect your grip. Then to the range. This is the ideal starting point for your journey!

Experienced shooters: Experienced Shooters: Enhance your shot grouping and In this class, you'll master the fundamentals of shooting, including grip, stance, aiming, trigger control, breathing, and follow-through. Ready for the next step? Join us for our "Women of Magnum" class!

  • 50 + rounds of ammunition per student

*Firearm, eye protection, ear protection, and ammunition. Ammunition is available for purchase at Magnum Shooting Center, as well as firearm rental. If you are renting a firearm/need to purchase items for class, please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time. Anyone is unable to arrive 5 minutes past the hour will be required to reschedule. You Must Be 21 years old to rent a handgun unless you are with a parent or legal guardian.
