Using gear designed specifically for freediving is best, however, in this course, you may be able to use snorkeling equipment you already own. Equipment is INCLUDED (But if you already own any of the below freediving items, feel free to use them, but have them checked by your instructor before the course). See recommendations below.

  • Mask – A low-volume freediving mask, a scuba mask is acceptable for the Freediver course.

Adventure Tips

Practice Relaxation Techniques

Calm breathing and relaxation are key to improving breath-hold ability; focus on slow, controlled breaths.

Stay Hydrated

Bring water or hydration drinks to stay hydrated, as breath-holding exercises can be physically demanding.
