Dive into the vibrant underwater world at Mala Pier, where a collapsed concrete structure is now a thriving habitat for diverse marine life, including turtles and reef sharks. Enjoy the stunning Pali coastline with its unique dive sites, all while being supported by a knowledgeable crew that caters to all experience levels.
Mala Pier is an underwater wonderland. Originally a concrete pier, now beautifully collapsed and teeming with life, this site is home to schools of goatfish, resident turtles, white tip reef sharks, frogfish, and even the occasional spotted eagle ray. While Mala is accessible from shore, boat diving here means you skip the tricky entry and drop straight into the good stuff—easy, breezy, and full of photo ops.
The Pali coastline offers a variety of dive sites, each with its own charm—lava formations, swim-throughs, and calm, clear water often protected from the afternoon winds by the West Maui Mountains. It’s the perfect way to wrap up your morning underwater.
Check in is at 6:15 in the morning and we return to the harbor between noon and 1:00.
This charter is for certified divers, and is also a trip that snorkelers will really enjoy. Whether you're newly certified or an old pro, our crew groups divers by experience level to make sure everyone has the best time possible. We provide light snacks, sodas, juices, and plenty of water to keep you fueled and refreshed.
⚠️ A Few Important Notes Has it been more than 2 years since your last dive? If so, you MUST schedule a refresher or guided shore dive ahead of time, or hire a private guide for your boat day.
Rental gear is available for just $30 (includes BCD, reg, and anything else you need).
Snorkeling on this Trip Snorkelers are absolutely welcome! To meet safety requirements and Coast Guard regulations, a private in-water guide is required for all snorkelers - even those who are confident and experienced in the ocean.
This adds a $299 guide fee per snorkel group. If you're booking more than one snorkeler, please call us so we can make sure you're only charged for one guide, not per person.
If you're open to sharing your guide and others sign up to snorkel the same day, we're happy to split the cost - just let us know!
THERE IS A REQUIRED MEDICAL QUESTIONNAIRE IN YOUR WAIVER Certified divers should view their waivers well ahead of time in case a physician's release is required to participate in scuba diving. Divers who are required to obtain a medical release to dive and who show up without one (or with one that is incomplete) will be welcomed aboard as passengers but will not be able to dive and will not be refunded. We'd rather get to take you diving, so please get this done! If you are booking for others, it is your responsibility to provide your dive buddies with the waiver link ahead of time.
🌊 The Fine Print We do our best to dive the sites we've advertised for the day, but ocean conditions ultimately call the shots. If needed, we’ll choose alternate sites that are just as awesome. No refunds are issued based on site changes due to weather—safety first, always.
