Enjoy the thrill of the rapids, breathtaking scenery, and the famous Richmond skyline all in one trip! The Lower James River has something for everyone and is home to America’s only urban Class IV rapids. There’s no better way to experience the River City!
We will meet you at our shop here at 1511 Brook Rd before shuttling up to our put-in point at Reedy Creek. You will get outfitted with helmets, PFDs, and paddles before receiving a safety briefing from the trip leader. We will tackle the Class III-IV rapids of Hollywood, Fish Ladders, and Pipeline.
After the trip, we’ll shuttle you back to our base at RVA Paddlesports where you can share stories of you adventure and check out the pictures our photographers took of your group on the water.
