Embark on a breathtaking 3-hour coastal walk along the South West Coast Path from Lansallos to Polruan. Experience stunning views of bays, beaches, and possibly spot seals. Enjoy friendly guidance, tackle moderate climbs, and explore the historic 14th-century blockhouse, all while supporting the Trail with every step.

A walk on a remote-feeling section of the South West Coast Path from Lansallos to Polruan with stunning views of bays & beaches. Possible glimpses of seals.
A short bus trip to join the Coast Path at Lansallos then walk on rugged terrain across cliff tops, crossing streams and skirting above the stunning Lantic Bay with its white sands and turquoise waters.
There are several moderate climbs (mostly with steps), totalling 360m of ascent.
Pencarrow gives expansive views across St Austell Bay to Dodman Point and the Lizard on a clear day. Looking east, there are views towards Polperro and beyond.
Optional visit to the well-preserved 14th century blockhouse at the end of this 4.5 mile hike, time permitting.

Parking Space Public parking (can be busy - leave plenty of time to park) in Polruan Hill Car Park, St Saviour's Hill. If approaching from the west/north, it may be easiest to park in Fowey and take the Polruan Ferry to and from the Polruan side of the river Fowey.
Train Stations & Bus Stops Par is the nearest rail station. Bus and ferry service via Fowey: buses 24 and 25 from Par station to Fowey, then Polruan Ferry across the Fowey River. On the Good Journey planner search ‘Polruan’ and select ‘The Quay (W-bound)’
