About

Launching from the charming South Whidbey Harbor in Langley – with its art, cafes, and shops – this is an easy way to get out on the water! Two hours from start to finish, the Langley Loop lets you enjoy the Pacific Northwest at its finest as you search for seals, crabs and eagles while enjoying panoramic views of the Cascade Mountains. As you explore the area, you’ll also learn about the coastal community of Langley and its past, present and future.

What to Expect:

Before we leave the beach, you’ll get to know your guide(s) and the equipment. Our staff will make sure you’re properly outfitted, prepared and comfortable before launching. The harbor is a cozy, sheltered area so you can start enjoying the boats right away. Once everyone’s ready, we’ll move swiftly out to the open water of the Saratoga Passage to explore Whidbey’s coastline and begin looking for wildlife.

What's Included:

• Trained, experienced local guide or guides • No previous kayaking experience needed • We recommend that families with children under the age of 10 consider a shorter experience, such as our Family Family tour or a 90-minute rental • We provide paddles, life jackets and waterproof cell phone cases

What to Bring:

• Bottle of water • Sun and eye protection (sunglasses and/or a hat with a brim) • Synthetic, athletic clothes and shoes that can get sandy or wet (or go barefoot) • Avoid cotton clothing like jeans and sweatshirts; they dry slowly and are chilly when wet

Group and Equipment Policy:

  • Groups of three or less may sign up for group tours, however, the tour will not go out with less than 4 people and is subject to canceling, rescheduling, or upgrading to a private.
  • We use tandem (2-person) kayaks on all of our shared tours. We will fill the empty space with either another customer from an uneven group, or more often, with one of our crew.
  • If you or any of your party must be in a single kayak, please book a private tour instead.

Want a private trip?

Up to four people, $450 plus tax and fees. Each additional person is $75. Groups can opt for single kayaks, tandems or a combination of both. Or paddle boards!
