Embark on a captivating 5-day photography holiday in County Kerry, Ireland, from November 6th to 10th. Based in Dingle, you'll capture stunning landscapes at iconic locations like the Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National Park, with personalized tuition and workshops to elevate your skills amidst breathtaking autumn scenery.
Join us for an autumnal 5 day photography holiday around County Kerry Ireland, during November 2023. Based in Dingle, we explore the Dingle Peninsula as well as the outstanding scenery around the Killarney National Park, Black Valley and the Gap of Dunloe. Suitable for anyone interested in taking their photography to the next level, as there’s ample time for ongoing tuition, mini workshops and demonstrations as we leisurely travel between locations. Accommodation and meals are not included and to make use of the shorter daylight hours we’ll break for an hour or so around lunchtime on most days.

Pick up and drop off is in and around Dingle Town every day.

Day 1: Monday 6th November
We meet and begin in Dingle at 1.30 pm and follow the Slea Head Drive, which carries us through the amazing coastal landscape, west of Dingle, providing us with ready access to the best seascape photography anywhere in Ireland. Returning to Dingle following sunset and dusk around 6.00pm.
Day 2 Tuesday 7th November
We meet and begin in Dingle for the Dawn and Sunrise around 6.30am. For the rest of the morning we’ll explore the Dingle Peninsula with a break in Dingle from 11.30am – 1.30pm. During the afternoon session we’ll explore more of the Slea Head Drive with another opportunity of a great sunset and colourful dusk sky over the Blasket Islands. Returning to Dingle following sunset and dusk around 6.00pm.
Day 3 Wednesday 8th November
We meet and begin in Dingle around 6.30am for dawn and sunrise photography over Inch Strand. Continuing on, we’ll spend the day immersed in the fabulous isolated landscape of the Black Valley and the Gap of Dunloe. We’ll take an hour or so break in Kenmare around midday and should arrive back in Dingle, following a sunset and dusk photography opportunity around 6 - 6.30pm.
Day 4 Thursday 9th November
We meet and begin in Dingle around 6.30am for dawn and sunrise photography at a great location on the Dingle Peninsula. We’ll spend the remainder of the day in the Killarney National Park, exploring the woods and lakeside landscapes until sunset and dusk. With an hour or so break in Killarney around midday, following the afternoon and evening session we’ll return to Dingle around 6.30 – 7.00pm.
Day 5 Friday 10th November
We meet and begin in Dingle around 6.30am for dawn and sunrise photography. Following this we’ll have an hour or so break back in Dingle for breakfast and checking out of your accommodation. We’ll explore more of the Dingle Peninsula until we finish at lunchtime around 1.30pm.
Autumn light can be low and uneven; a tripod ensures sharp landscapes in dimmer conditions.
November weather in Kerry is unpredictable; waterproof camera covers and clothing keep you prepared.
Arrive early to capture warm, directional light on the peninsula’s coastal cliffs and valleys.
Some photo spots require navigating uneven or muddy terrain, so grip and ankle support are important.
The Dingle Peninsula has a rich Gaelic heritage and was part of an ancient trade route along the Wild Atlantic Way.
The program emphasizes low-impact travel and respects protected areas, supporting local conservation efforts.
