Corrugations, which can make the tour dangerous for all and for our vehicles that are constantly on there 24/7, we MAY have to postpone the tour till the road has been graded again. We will have an alternative full or half day tour as the option, which depends on what Parks have open at the time.

On arriving at the gorge, there is a short easy walk to the edge of the escarpment with a magnificent view. The 200m high gorge is a sight to be seen (only flowing over the wet season), but choose your timing as it flow varies throughout the year.
Here, there is a white sandy beach to relax, and a beautiful freshwater pool where you can take a refreshing dip.
For the adventurous, there is the option to continue further with a swim through from the Beach Pool, then some rock climbing involved to get you to the Main Plunge Pool above. Bring a waterproof mobile phone case, to capture this amazing experience.
We rate the level of difficult an 8/10. Our test before you decide to go. The Waterfall Fitness test ..... Balance - Can you stand on one leg, with your thigh level to the ground for 30 secs ? Now try with your second leg ? Fitness and Stamina - Can you stand up on to a chair and back down again 20 times ? Bring a backpack, so you can have free hands when climbing these rocky areas.
After swimming, we will take you for a short drive to a picturesque location for lunch.
Your tour includes fully guided commentary along the way, on the flora, fauna and indigenous history.
Jim Jim Gorge is about a 8/10 difficulty, so suits a good level of fitness. There are uneven surfaces and boulder climbing involved. We do not recommended this 2km return walk for anyone with knee, hip or similar problems.
Lunch includes BBQ chicken, potato and fresh garden salads, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Iced water supplied to refill your water bottles.

All visitors to Kakadu National Park are required to purchase a park pass and carry this on them at all times. Parks Australia is responsible for the sale of these passes.
Your tour price does not include a Kakadu Park Pass and you are required to purchase this for yourself prior to the tour. The pass must reflect the dates you are travelling whilst in Kakadu and rangers may ask to see this at random locations.

Closed-toe shoes are recommended for climbing and navigating rocky terrain.
Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses will keep you comfortable under the sun.
Don’t forget your swimsuit for a dip in the gorge’s clear waters.
