Join Lucky Dog Surf Camp in Sea Bright for an unforgettable week of surfing! Designed for ages 8-15, campers will master skills from basics to advanced techniques with a 4:1 instructor ratio. Enjoy exclusive beach access and all necessary equipment while learning safety and surf etiquette in a fun, supportive environment.
Where is camp?
Camp takes place on the south end of Sea Bright at two different locations depending on the weeks.
1167 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright, NJ (parking lot behind the Cecile F. Norton Community Center) - Operating the following weeks:
June 16 - 20 June 23 - 27 June 30 - July 4 July 14 - 18 July 28 - August 1 August 11 - 15
Anchorage Beach, 909 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright, NJ - Operating the following weeks:
July 7 - 11 July 21 - 25 August 4 - 8 August 18 - 22
Camper drop-off is encouraged as parking is extremely limited. If you need to park, please allot time to find parking and walk from the nearby public parking lot. The larger public lot is at 1097 Ocean Ave, Sea Bright. Parking fees are in effect starting Memorial Day.
Who is this camp for?
This camp caters to all surfing abilities ages 8 - 15.
What will be taught?
Campers will learn the fundamentals of surfing to advanced surfing techniques based on their individual needs and abilities.
Focused on safety!
Our camper to instructor ratio is 4:1 or better!
Of course all of our camps are focused on safety. Campers will learn how how to handle different surf conditions, proper surf etiquette, and how to handle and take care of their board in and out of the water.
What is provided?
We provide all the equipment needed, however we encourage you to bring your own if you have it!
How long is camp?
Surf Camp runs Monday through Friday. The start times vary because of the tidal changes each week.
Beach Access
Only our surf clients may access the beach without paying the beach access fee. All spectators must pay the beach access fee. If you plan on using the beach before or after your camp session, you must pay the access fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations for Lucky Dog Surf Camp are considered non-refundable except in the following circumstances:
TIMELY CANCELLATION REFUND In the event of a timely cancellation (at least 30 days prior to the 1st day of registered camp), we will refund your reservation in full. However, if a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the 1st day of registered camp, the payment for camp is non-refundable. To cancel please email melissa@luckydogsurf.com and chris@luckydogsurf.com. All cancellations must be in writing.
SUBSTITUTIONS Substitutions for children must be made at least 30 days prior to the first day of camp and will incur a $75 service fee. Substitutions are for full weeks only- you cannot “split” a week between multiple children or days per registration.
If a camper is not on the roster he/she will not be permitted to attend camp.
