We have a complete Pittwater kayaking tour planned for you. We will start from McCarrs Creek and paddle up to Church point, into Elvina Bay and then into Lovett Bay.
We then walk up to the Lovett bay waterfall where we have a picnic lunch. This waterfall bush walk is the best way to refresh yourself before carrying on with the rest of the tour.
After lunch, we return to the Kayaks and paddle back to McCarrs Creek.
The Walk is approx 1km return. The Waterfall lookout is approx 100m above Sea level, so its a bit of a climb. No problem for the able-bodied, but quite steep so not suitable for those with bad knees or the unfit. As the Kayaks are the much more comfortable seat inside type, you will need to be less than 2M tall and able to fit in a 40cm wide seat.
Since you'll be kayaking and hiking, choose moisture-wicking gear and bring a change of clothes.
Use sunscreen, wear a hat, and sunglasses to shield yourself during sunny midday hours.
Carry enough water to stay energized, especially during physical sections of the trip.
Ensure good weather for safety and optimal experiences in water and bushland.
Pittwater has long been a key site for Indigenous communities and played a part in early Australian naval history.
