We will deliver to you at the curb across the wooden footbridge from Drake Park (next to Pageant Park), and just across the grass from a small dock!
There is not any parking, so we recommend first Park downtown and then walk across the river to the put in and paddle through Drake Park to the base of the whitewater park and back to your put in location, you can also paddle around on Mirror Pond down to Brooks Park and then back up again.
Finish your paddle off with a brew and lunch on the grass overlooking Mirror Pond at Bend Brewing Company, a coffee or brew at the Commons Cafe or any of the restaurants downtown since if you walk across the footbridge it is all right there!
Wind and weather can change quickly on the river, so check the forecast to ensure calm conditions for a safe and enjoyable trip.
Always wear a properly fitting life jacket provided with the rental for safety, even if you’re an experienced swimmer.
Stay hydrated and energized with water and snacks, especially if you plan to paddle for the full 3.5 hours.
Apply waterproof sunscreen and wear a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from sunburn while on the water.
