Calgary, Canmore & Banff Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs

At Banff Day Trips, we are a team of passionate travel enthusiasts who want to provide our customers with unique and unforgettable sightseeing experiences.

This 10.5-11 hours day trip has everything from a beautiful hike to the Waterfalls at Johnston Canyon, to the incredible experience of going up on a sightseeing chairlift. Views don't get much better that this!

Where do start?

The adventure starts the minute you are picked up from one of the listed hotels in Calgary, Canmore or Banff.

Your first stop will be at Johnston Canyon where you will get a chance to use those hiking boots you bought before coming to visit us. If you didn't bring hiking shoes, no biggie, you will survive, we promise.

The many bridges on the trail leading to the waterfall combined with the colourfull rock wall and pristine water, means lots of stops for photos, if you're into it, like we are.

Downtown Banff

After a hike everyone works out an appetite, so what better place to fill our bellies than Downtown Banff?

We'll stop in town for a couple of hours to eat and recharge our energy, or you can check out the many shops in town.

Some guests bring lunch with them by the Bow river and enjoy the sounds of nature or rent a canoe and eat on the water.

You'll have time to enjoy te area, this is won't be a touch and go tour. You will have time to explore with us and or on your own.

Let's get wild!!!

You can't come to Banff and not expect to go home without seeing wildlife. We have lots of squirls, gophers, deer and crows.

But we know you're after the bigger animals like bears, elks, Rocky mountain sheep, etc. We'll try to find you some, so buckle up and let's checkout a few secret spots.

You're going up!

Now we'll head to Mt Norquay for a chairlift ride to their lookout located at almost 7000 feet above sea level.

One of our favourite destinations in Banff, not just because of the spectacular and amazing views this place offers from top to bottom, but also because we often see wildlife at a distance right from your seats.

So come camera ready, fingers crossed, and sharpen up your eyes!

More lakes, more stories, more fun!

We'll head to one of the biggest lakes in Banff and the only one that allows motorboats in the park, Lake Minnewanka.

Everything in this area is amazing, from the colour of the water, the surrounding mountains, and even the drive to get here will keep you on your toes, you'll see.

You'll have time to stroll the marina, or by the shoreline, this could be a great place to update one of your profile photos. Or just sit on a bench and find your inspiration.

This is a great place to end the day before heading back to your hotel.

Remember to let us know if you are picked up in Calgary and would like to be dropped off in Banff or Canmore. We will gladly coordinate the route for you.
