Upon arrival, you will be offered two of our award-winning coffees to enjoy while you check-in. Our tour begins overlooking 5 acres of the coffee plantation and how we started growing coffee in the Kona region. We will show you the various flora and fruit flourishing on the farm. From there we head to the coffee trees where you can see firsthand what a coffee tree looks like.
Depending on the time of year, we will be able to show you the growing cycle of a coffee bean from flower to bean. You may be able to pick a coffee bean and taste it right off the tree! From there we will take you to our roasting room to learn how our coffee is roasted. You may be able to watch an actual roasting cycle.
After we will offer you some of our more exotic coffees from our Limited Edition Allocation List. During the tour we encourage guests to ask questions, take photos and videos and generally enjoy themselves.
We attempt to tailor each tour to the interests of the group. The normal tour is about 45 minutes. However, depending on your interests it may be longer or shorter. Tours are limited to 10 guests.
Wear a wide-brim hat and sunscreen to stay comfortable during the outdoor portions of the tour.
Plan to arrive a few minutes before your tour to enjoy the initial coffee tastings and settle in.
The tour is interactive, so don’t hesitate to engage your guide about coffee growing and roasting.
