The 2 km cedar boardwalk includes several sections of stairs and numerous steps, which may present physical challenges for some visitors. Additionally, access to the pools involves navigating a rocky area, which can also be challenging due to uneven footing. We highly recommend wearing TEVA sandals or water shoes in the pools, as surfaces can be slippery.
Entrance and exit to the rustic hot springs requires good mobility. The pools can be slippery. Please be aware that the wooden boardwalk leading to the hot springs may be wet and slippery. Visitors to the park should wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution when traversing the area.
Please note that dogs and alcohol are not permitted in Maquinna Park. We kindly ask all visitors to practice Leave No Trace principles and pack out any garbage they bring into the park, ensuring it remains pristine for future enjoyment.
